      1. Very nicely, if the love is right. But love can be selfish and unselfish. Jesus said, “greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Initially speaking of Himself but leaving an example for us. We should love others so much that we would be willing to die for them. The same kind of love that Jesus has for us. That’s putting others first which is the only way to love others as ourselves. Really, having God’s love in us so that we can love others the way we ought to.

Steve—I think that says it all right there. If God’s love is in us…yep. I need to think on that some more. Thank you for the thoughtful insights—as always!! 😊🖐😺

  1. Love and Hate are equally as powerful, never accept one and abandon another totally.
A person cannot truly understand either without another.
The healing power of love is in my opinion the greatest quality of love.
Love inspires confidence and esteem for oneself and others. It opens doors, illuminates dark feelings, and grants purpose.
It certainly is a factual cure for emotional distress; and our physical ailments can often be linked.

      1. Ahahah! Muuuwah! 😘
So I got curious about the etymology of the word hate and then with google translator looked up hate in different languages. Super interesting.

      2. So interesting to me the depth of feeling of certain words—how many different words to convey a range of feeling and ideas. Also interesting the way words have travelled across time and continents. Yes, eye opening indeed!

  2. I steer clear of “things romantic.” Makes for good reads but really can hash-up life a bit, a pretty good source for a lot of stress and disappointment in life, which I manage perfectly well all by my lonesome with an occasional assist from the Boss. I’d say, “get with it, this new story!”

    1. Again with the chuckles! Ah “things romantic”. Yikes. Like any addiction. But even Eros had to grow up and learn about love…as did Psyche.
Ok then, I’ll get with it! Ha! Thanks for the visit and good luck with the rabbits!
