And From Your Ashes I Arise Ch 4

Nov 27, 2017

“Get over it!”

They said.

But it was too big

And I was too small.

“Let it go!”

I was told.

But it followed me.

I tried to go around it

But soon found it was everywhere…

I had no other choice but to go through it.

And to my surprise

It was dark inside,

A warm glow in my heart

And a smile on my face

Grew brighter and brighter…

I can see

More clearly

All the images

    1. I’m glad you like it! I think this chapter 4 is my favorite poem.

This was the ‘turning point’ for me in my journey and at a time when I was at my lowest. I reached out for help to a dear old friend and realized I was not alone.

It was through my friend’s kind and encouraging words I resolved to keep writing and share my story with others. Thank you for reading 🙂

    1. Thank you, Ilona for reading. Yes, there is no other way. Better to accept and deal with the issues-step by step-then it doesn’t seem so scary. Getting help is important too. You also have a wonderful day! 🙂

  2. Praise God for your dear friend, does she or he have a blog? Well I started chapter 1 about half hour ago and here I am at 4, guess I will finish them all today. I must admit I don’t usually like this one line style of writing but its the contend of what you are writing about that has drawn me and keeps me coming back. It’s the courage and honest heart if is coming from also. After the first three chapters this one was a giant relief, freedom is a process.
