Hi Renee! Cabin is a blessing up on ‘Lockdown Mountain’. Don’t know what’s in store for the future but I’m willing to find out. In desperate need of a haircut! Hahaha! Letting it all hang out. Love and hugs to you, dear friend. 😊💓🤗
I think we all will embrace the future and what it has to offer. The ups, the downs, the bumps and the smiles. Yep! Let it all hang out! My hair is in disarray at the moment! 😂
Love and hugs reciprocates, my sweet friend! 💜💕🤗
Aww I’m all smiles, Luke thank you. 🙃 your winter scenes are stunning! The colors are incredible. Lovely to see the world through your eyes. Inspiring.
Muffin doesn’t go out at all, too many bad people around here that do nasty things to cats. The cold air from the door makes her run away though. She has gone on the deck a couple times to say hi to Major, a buck that comes around. They like each other. But she doesn’t stay out long and she comes running in. She likes her patch of sunshine, or she sleeps on her bed on top of one of my shelves, up near the ceiling where it’s nice and warm.😁🖐😸
Really? Nasty things to cats? Goodness Steve what kind of place is it you live? Yikes! Good thing Muffin is one smart cookie to stay close to home and the warm…😊🖐😺
It’s mostly from the gangs in town that the problem occurs, a couple different youth gangs, which are associated with a couple adult gangs, one which is associated with Hell’s Angels. But we are a quiet town generally.
Yep, we both stay inside and try to keep each other warm.😁🖐😻
Nina, what beautiful photos! I just love how snow looks on fences, don’t you?
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead from here in Saskatchewan (we had -46 last night and it felt like -56 with the wind chill!)
Enjoy your cozy cabin 🙂
Thank you, Angie. Yes, snow on the fence is so pretty. I love it—doesn’t last long here. And thank you for the well wishes—same to you! -46 -56 is so crazy insane to think about makes my brain freeze. 🥶 You folks in the north are of some hearty stock indeed. 😊
Haha! I personally just hide inside with blankets and stories until I can poke my head out the door again without my eyelashes turning white. I’m certainly grateful for a working furnace!
We’ve been watching the weather forecast every day. 😱🥶 yes, inside cozy with blankets! Good time for stories.
Last night I heard our owls out for the first time this year. A sweet sound, thought of you, Angie!
Be well stay safe and warm!
Oh how sweet! I actually told my son about the cute little owls you told me about and he looked them up in an animal book his teacher gave him. He was very excited to see the many different owls from all over.
Angie I am so super happy to hear this report! When kids get excited about our world—makes me smile. 😀 The other night while out walking I made a recording of several owls hooting (mating?) yep—super cool.
You are looking so radiant my friend!!! That little cabin is just what you needed…and oh that snow! 😱💜💕A picture of

If it wasn’t cold, I would be tempted to go dance in the rain or maybe splash in puddles or something… 🤦♀️

There can much peace to breathe in on a snowy day, or any day when nature smiles and winks back outside of our window.

Ahh the image of nature smiling and winking—as if to say “all is as it need be—so no fear—only peace.” 😊
