Muffin’s Mystery Blogger Award πŸ˜Ί

Hi there! I’ve been nominated by Muffin over at Steve’s Country for this award–which is pretty neat because Muffin is a cat! And let me tell you–she has a mind of her own. 😺

Muffin’s human, Steve is a dear friend to me and many bloggers around the world, sharing his beautiful daily pictures and check out his murder mystery series where Muffin and her boyfriend–ahem my Mr. Cat–are featured!

Thank you Steve and Muffin for your continued dedication to the blogging world. It is definitely a brighter place with you here! And I am honored by you both.

Here are the RULES …RULES???😬

β€’ Put the award logo on your blog–ok well that was a mystery in itself…
β€’ Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog–thanks for thinking of me!
β€’ Mention the creator of the award. The creator of this award is..Okoto Enigma–also a mystery
β€’ Answer the five questions you were asked–is this a test?
β€’ Tell the readers three things about yourself–oh gosh
β€’ Nominate ten to twenty bloggers–again a mystery
β€’ Notify the bloggers that you nominated them by commenting on one of their posts
β€’ Ask your nominees five questions with one weird or funny one
β€’ Share a link to your best posts–

1. Do you have, or would you like to have, a pet?

I am the keeper of Mr. Cat and a little rescue dog who likes to keep her private life a mystery.

2. Do you like to cook?

I love to cook….especially over an open fire.

3. Do you know more than one language fluently?

Me speaking Ukrainian

No, but I know a little bit of a lot of languages.

4. Have you been to any other countries besides your own?

Cambodia

Yes. It’s a great big beautiful world with so many places yet to visit! I could write a entire blog just about my travels and all the beautiful people I have encountered…

5. Would you like to live on the moon?

Almost total eclipse of the moon

Oh goodness no. A weekend holiday perhaps would be fun–just to see earth from above. Floating in no gravity would be neat. I like earth. No place like home.

Three things about me…

I am going to take some time in the next couple of weeks to review and recalibrate my blog; decide what direction I will go next and hopefully return with a clearer vision of my future.

Blogging here for me has been a wonderful experience. I did not intend for this blog to become so personal–and yet I find I’ve made deeper connections here than “out there” in the…what’s the word? Real world.

I feel blessed in so many ways–and I have you, my blogging friends to thank. Thank you. All of the encouragement, kind words and supportive feedback makes this platform so special.

One more thing…

I sometimes like to balance on rocks.πŸ™ƒ

So that’s for me! Thanks Muffin and Steve! Mr. Cat says πŸ–

  1. Fabulous Nina! You did that award so beautifully! I don’t know how you can do that balancing bit, that is just amazing, all that would happen to me is getting wet! Thanks so much for doing this award!πŸ₯³πŸ†πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

    1. I’m not sure I would have made it this long blogging, Steveβ€”if not for you and Muffin’s kind and generous support and friendship. And you know these awards are not something I normally like to do. Oh the pressure!!! πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ. But for you and Muffin.πŸ–πŸ˜»πŸ–πŸ˜» I suffer it. πŸ™ƒπŸ’“

      1. Oh, thanks so much Nina, you have brightened this cold and rainy day!πŸ˜πŸ–πŸ˜» Noooo, we made you suffer!😲 I think Muffin just fainted.πŸ™€ I know you’re just joking, you really enjoyed it.πŸ€”πŸ™„

      2. Haha! Nearly gave me an aneurysm!πŸ€ͺ. I like the way you and Muffin do these awardsβ€”you make them fun. πŸ–πŸ˜»

When I first started bloggingβ€”I got several awards…seemed strange to me. And the questions? Is this an award or an interrogation? Wow. β€œhave I ever lied to anyone?” Really? People giving me awards who only visit my blog once? Doing someone’s award and never hearing back from them? I get itβ€”it’s a promotional tool. But for me, it was too great a distraction from what I wanted to write.

This timeβ€”the distraction was nice. I did enjoy itβ€”and also promoting you and Muffin! It is nice to be recognized and appreciatedβ€” when it’s real. 🀩πŸ₯³πŸ₯°πŸ–πŸ˜»

      3. I think awards should be fun, that’s really what they are all about. I have said no to some awards because the questions were more like a university exam. I don’t want to spend all day answering one question. Or they get too personal or just inappropriate for my blog. Questions should be fun and easy, I try to keep mine that way. I think a lot of these awards have lost their original intention too. But I enjoy them and they are the most popular post on my blog. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, doesn’t say much for my writing! But perhaps it’s because I make them fun so they are popular for that reason. Yep, sometimes something different, a distraction, can be good. I still have a backlog of about 14 awards. It’s been a hard summer, hard for me to think, hard for me to read even. Amazing that reading can wear me out. All part of this Covid apparently. Not getting better fast it seems.
Yep, definitely real. Hope you have an enjoyable weekend Nina!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ΈπŸ–πŸ˜»

      4. Thanks for your words of wisdom, Steve. πŸ™πŸ» 14 awards backlogπŸ™€πŸ™€πŸ™€? But we do look forward to them.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ™ˆ
I’ve got the same thingβ€”reading wears me out. Weird.

Going to turn off the computer and spend some time with friends this weekend who are coming to visit. I’ll check in with you in a couple of days. Be well and stay out of trouble…teeheeπŸ€ͺ

      1. You’re welcome! I used to participate, but my schedule doesn’t give me the time! I still get nominated from time to time, when I do; I leave them with a poem, or something inspirational. Blessings!
