Hello and happy New Year! Once again I’ve teamed up with Steve at Steve’s Country to present another delightful tale about mice. So grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit back and relax and I hope you enjoy: “I Can’t Believe Those Mice”
WLaG,

PS. Thanks Steve for the open invitation to create more videos with your poetry. I see how you are trying to inspire me to keep blogging…it may just be working.

Hey Nina, I love that! You did a fabulous job on that one, I thought it might be a hard one with the repetition in there but you did it so nicely. Even Muffin sat here watching the whole time! She was sleeping but woke up when she heard your voice. She meows her approval for your wonderful artistry! You have a great gift there Nina, maybe we can get a nice collection of these together. (hint, hint) Hope you have a great New Year!!😃😺⛄⛄

Aww thank you, Muffin. That means a lot to me. I truly do love the playfulness, Steve. In all seriousness, it just plain feels nice to be silly and light-hearted for a change.
So you think a collection, eh? Hmmm….did you ever listen to any of the old Dr. Demento radio show? Don’t know if it aired in Canada. It was a radio program of silly songs and whatnot. My brother and I would listen intently and giggle ourselves silly. Fond memories. This reminded me of that. Thank you.
Yes, I hope we all have a great year. So far so good. 😊🌞🙃

Sometimes being lighthearted can be a very helpful thing to us in so many ways.
I never heard of Dr. Demento, probably wasn’t aired here. Where we lived we only got CBC clearly and they only had Canadian content mainly. Glad it gives you some fond memories.
Yes indeed, so much happening, I pray it’s a great year, everywhere. Enjoy your day Nina!😃😺⛄🐭

Yes, lighthearted and child-like. I think that’s the key to growing up a healthy happy human.
Yesterday an idea came to mind for a new story…a new blog. I think I finally know which direction to go from here. I’ve got some work to do…but I can do this.😊

Oh lol. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? We were trying to, but you know how life is.
We both are super weird and funny and make a good pair with that kind of stuff.

i love it! different from the first, i can feel the laughter in your voice and it is contagious, a great poem from Steve, the repetitions make it come alive, oh those naughty mice! how so very clever to add the different sound effects, that enhanced and did not distract from your reading. well done Nina and Steve!
