Rats, the top one looked like frost on a window and the bottom I would have said frozen water. I’m not a good guesser I guess.🤔🤪😜Great pics anyway!!😁📷

Aww—good guess! These puddles were only a couple inches deep. Not like your ‘not-frozen’ lake. Scary! 😱

I don’t know how deep that lake was, but I’m guessing not too deep, maybe 20 feet or so in that spot. Probably had springs there, that’s why the thin ice. A lot of lakes here have springs and the ice is always thin in those spots.

Not too deep? 20 feet is way over my head! Brings back fond memories of ice-skating on lakes—and those first few cautionary steps…

Yes, deep in that respect, but still not so deep. Getting out would have been tricky, not easy getting back up on ice. I did fall through ice one time, but that’s another story.😂😁😜
