Collective Consciousness 🌀

July 31, 2019

Hi from camp!

Hope this finds you well and in good spirits. My husband and I just celebrated 23 years of marriage together (WOOHOO!) and he is taking excellent care of me and my still broken, but healing thumb. 👍 Thank you, friends for all your well wishes and prayers for smooth and speedy recovery. I’ll say it again–the WP community is super cool!

Big prayers for the wild land firefighters and their leaders who risk their own lives for the sake of the rest of us. You are heroes. Thank you, and all first responders for the jobs you do. God bless 🙏🏻

Time on my hands.

As of of late, I’ve had time to read more blogs and see what folks are thinking about.

There seems to be a common theme running through the ‘collective consciousness’–do you feel it? Remember, we are ALL in this soup together…

Does it sometimes feel like we are going through some sort of global birthing process? It’s a painful, difficult birth. And yet–we want it. Enough said.

On the one hand,

we see fear and a promise

of an easy way out

directing traffic;

heading towards

a brick wall built on destruction.

Nothing here but despair.

On the other hand, limitless possibilities–beginning

inside our very selves.

This is where it all begins!

All our hopes and dreams. Our joy, sorrow, failures and disappointments. It’s all in there–life and death–all part of this horribly awesome cosmic existence! The Kingdom built on a solid-rock foundation. Eternal life. Infinity.

Which would you rather choose?

Hope.

Yes, yes the physical body must die. I know, it’s a difficult pill to swallow. All of this existence, everyone and everything we know will eventually die. In this, we have no choice. We are born and we die.

And after this?

I personally have no clue what actually happens to us after we die. But, I do have a thought. An intuition. Faith? A feeling? I read it in a book somewhere…and in another…

So folks, remember: we are all in this together. We’ve all made mistakes. Some mistakes we learn from, some unfortunately can’t be undone. Sad but true, ask me how we know. We can’t hide from them.

We can, however, learn from some pretty awesome examples throughout history!

Brave souls who never gave up on their convictions–even unto their death; because they knew the truth. And what is “The Truth”? Better we seek the truth at its source–the very core of our own being. In The Kingdom. A worthy treasure, indeed!

But, it’s dark and scary inside, you say. Remember that little light? It takes a bit of friction to make a spark, right? Don’t fear! The adventure of a lifetime is waiting…

Sad for what could have been, or never happened, or went all wrong? I get it. This I completely understand. Sigh…big deep inhale…and exhale…

Gratitude. Gratitude for this day and from this day forward. Gratitude for ALL of this existence. Joy, sorrow, pain and healing. ALL of it. Try it and see what happens…

So, that’s all today from camp. Time to go walk down to the water and breathe some fresh air. 🌬

Take care and be well, dear friends. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. Your thoughts and comments are always welcome and put a smile on my face.😊

With love and gratitude,

Nina

      1. Every thing is hard! Haha! I’m left handed—and of course it’s my left thumb. But I’m finding my way. Doing way more now. Stitches should come out this weekend. I hope! The hardest part was at first—it hurt so much, I couldn’t think straight—So I couldn’t write. I missed writing. Funny. Little things. Thank you so much for the well wishes. 👍😊👍

      2. Aww 🥰 I’m left handed too. Most creative people are left handed. I love that. My daughter fell and broke left hand and wrist and dislocated that shoulder. I’m Jan of this year she had to have surgery to tighten the torn tendons. Wow 😮 she’s just now getting back to normal. I’m the meantime she learned to scribble with her right hand. Amazing how the human body compensates. I know that pain of healing as well. It’s not fun. I was injured and broke my L3 in my spine and literally had to lay flat for 3 weeks. I think what I learned from it all is how to rest in the healing process our bodies go through. I’m sending healing light and prayers your way. Be gentle with yourself. I also learned that the hard way. 🙏🏼🙋🏼‍♀️💜🥰

      3. Oh gosh! Yes, the body is amazingly resilient. And no, while it’s not exactly fun—it does teach so much. Thank you for the kind words. You are so right—rest is important. At first all I wanted to do was curl up and cocoon. Sleep—I had no choice.
Three weeks flat on your back—that is rough. How are you today? Any sense of the injury? Sending you and your daughter the same—healing prayers.
Yay! South paws. We are in our right minds, right? 😊🙏🏻💞

  1. Congrats, my friend. He better be good to you 😂
I like how we delivered a similar message, but you did it softly whereas I did it…a bit harshly and straight forward 😂 Love the part about Hope ❤ We need it now more than ever

    1. Aw thanks. We’ve both grown up—and yes, both good to each other. 🙂
I’m glad you liked this—inspired by our conversation. And I do endeavor to be softer these days. But that’s just me. I like your direct approach too!
We do need hope. When people say they’ve given up hope—it’s heartbreaking—cause I think it’s just at that moment—just when you’re about to give up—that real healing can take place.💞 as always, I enjoy your company, Nour. 😊

      1. Me too! I’ve a ton of swirling thoughts right now—there’s so much good stuff—waiting for some of them to land so they can be…hmmm…what’s the word? Haha…I need to sit in a dark room for a while.

      2. You’re making my teeth clatter with excitement. I’m thinking that WordPress won’t tell me, but I’ll be persistent in checking in once and twice a day. Hope that’s not too clingy. 😋

      3. If this helps, I’ve noticed that the writer is the only one who is able to find fault in his/her writings. Most of us, the readers, are only sometimes able to look past the veil that holds the piece together. So I will definitely love anything you write.

      4. Now that is very kind and encouraging—yes of course it helps. How many different ways can I write “everything is God—even the stuff we might not like. So fear only God—and then see what happens…” without sounding wishy washy new age mumbly jumbly?

      1. Watt, I recently noticed that I’m unable to ‘like’ anyone posts while on my cell. I haven’t a clue why. Have you experienced anything like this? I do hope WordPress is not against you..you are talented and need to be read.
