  1. Beautiful flowers! Yesterday Steve told me that people hate dandelions and I was surprised and he also said it can be eaten and itโ€™s healthier than lettuce ๐Ÿ˜Š so happy to see more dandelions and these are great shots by the way ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’•

    1. Thanks! Someone came to our homeโ€”she said with disdain โ€œoh you have a lot of dandelions in your yardโ€. I trying to explain the beauty blah blah blah-she says โ€œI hate dandelionsโ€. I knew she and I could not be friends.

      1. I mean, I get it. Dandelions-persistent and tenacious-do tend to take over if you let them-Iโ€™m constantly out there โ€˜deadheadingโ€™ themโ€”keep โ€˜em tidyโ€”its a balance thing. But, as a plant-they have so many beneficial usesโ€”not to mention yellow! The first sign of spring. Glad you see the beauty. ๐ŸŒž

      2. Well persistent is a good quality ๐Ÿ˜ and as you said you keep them tidy and they are the first sign of spring ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒผ

      3. Finches and wild turkeys eat the seeds. Honey bees forage. The whole plant is edible and nutritious. Did I mention they too grant wishes? ๐Ÿงšโ€โ™€๏ธ
I hope Steve enjoys this conversation. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. The beauty in these words and pictures is inspiring and made me smile. Beauty is everywhere, it’s all a matter of perception. I too love dandelions, and the picture of the wishing one….. Stunning. I love the whimsy and hope of those little soft fairies. Have a great weekend my friend. ๐Ÿ’™
